COMPOSITION
Edson
Zampronha focuses his activities on instrumental,
electroacoustic,
orchestral
and vocal
compositions. Similarly, he composes music for theater, dance, sound installations
and audiovisual events.
These are some commissions he has received:
- Composition of the work El Libro de Pegaso, including 12 works for piano, commissioned by the Fundación Música Abierta, Spain (2009).
- Composition of his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, for the Symphonic Orchestra of Sergipe, premiered on September 24 in Aracajú, Brazil (2009).
- Composition of the work Fantasia, commissioned by the Trio Puelli, that is going to be included in the next CD released by the pianist Karin Fernandes (2009).
-Composition of the work Two Takes, to the Vox theater play, written and directed by Beatriz Gonçalves, and premiered at the Espaço Satyros 1, in São Paulo, Brazil (2009).
-Composition of the work Listening Beyond for the Museum of Applied Arts, in Cologne, Germany, for the cultural activities during the Soccer World Cup 2006.
- Composition of the work Viaje al Interior (Journey to Inward) to the catwalk show of María Lafuente at Passarela Cibeles in Madri, Spain (2006).
- Composition of the work Diante
do Abismo (In front of the Abyss) to the São
Paulo State Symphonic Band for the 100th
Anniversary of the São Paulo State Gallery, Brazil
(2005).
